SRINAGAR: Two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists were nabbed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla area today in a joint operation by police and the armed force. A Pak spy was also nabbed on Friday in Samba part along the International Border.
Safeer Ahmad Bhat and Farhaan Fayaz were a part of JeM terror module working in Baramulla town and neighboring territories headed by a Pakistani terrorist working by code name Khalid, an announcement from the police said.
An AK 47 rifle, different arms and ammo were recovered from them. The security forces are probing their involvement in the August 16 attack on an armed force guard in which three security personnel were killed.
A massive cordon and search operation was launched by the security forces in north Kashmir’s Baramulla yesterday after reports that terrorists were hiding in the old city area.
Meanwhile, Pakistani spy Bodhraj was arrested from Samba on Friday. Two Pakistani SIM cards and a map showing the deployment of security forces were recovered from him, authorities said.
