Rourkela: Vigilance official on Tuesday conducted raids at three spots, including the residence of Biramitrapur forest range officer Chandra Sekhar Gadnayak, on charges of amassing of properties disproportionate to his known wellsprings of income.
As per sources, the anti-corruption wing of the Odisha Police is leading raids at the ancestral house of Gadnayak situated in Pallahara and Rourkela. Additionally, raids are likewise on at Gadnayak’s office in Biramitrapur.
The investigating agency has laid its hands on some incriminating documents and bank passbooks in the name of Gadnayak during the raid, sources in the agency said.
The raid was still on when reports last came in.
