Ratlam : Nine people were killed and a many others injured today when a private bus fell into a gorge close Namli town in the region today, police said.
“So far nine people have been found dead in the doomed bus that fell into the gorge,” Ratlam Superintendent of Police Avinash Sharma told PTI.
The transport was on the way to Mandsaur from Ratlam when the incident occurred.
According to eyewitnesses, the bus was moving on a high speed and suddenly it overturned and fell into the gorge filled with water.
Unconfirmed reports said there were 40-45 passengers in the bus. However, the SP said the figure is not correct.
