Nayagarh: 12 people were harmed when a mini bus veered off road and fell into the Mahanadi close Dankarisahi under Gania block of Nayagarh area today.
All the harmed were admitted to the Gania hospital taking after the mischance. Out of the harmed, five were later moved to the Nayagarh district hospital in a serious condition.
According to sources, the mini bus – Maa Mahalaxmi – was on its way towards Kurala from Chhamundia carrying 20 persons on board. Following a mechanical glitch in which the axle of the bus broke, it went out of control and fell into the Mahanadi river.
