Malkangiri: In a major setback to Maoist organisations, 222 Maoist supporters surrendered before Malkangiri police today.
According to sources, the surrendered supporters are from Tekguda, Sana Tekguda and Tekguda colony under Kalimela police limits and include 19 militia and 72 women.
With this surrender, over 500 Maoist supporters have surrendered this month.
