Bhawanipatna: Cases have been lodged against three persons, including IOCL’s Kalahandi area manager, for anomalies in distribution of LPG connection under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
As indicated by sources,widespread irregularities were found in the dealings of the Golamunda gas merchant, taking after which the cases have been held up, informed the district collector.
The Indane gas agency in Golamunda block has also been raided.
The irregularities surfaced when more than one gas connections were found with the same registration number.
Sround 140 beneficiaries have allegedly been a victim of this fraud, informed sources.
