Rayagada: Police nabbed Jiten Deep, a gangster from dreaded criminal Timan Kumbhar of Balangir area, from his hidout in Rayagada region.
A special police group nabbed Jiten from his relative’s home at Therubali town in Rayagada region last evening. The Balangir police would forward him to court after reaching Balangir.
Notably, Timan and his 12 associates are in jail in extortion, tender fixing and Government land grabbing cases. Earlier, mastermind of the gang Khirod Mishra, also known as Guruji, was arrested by the police and sent to jail in June this year.
