Bhubaneswar: 3 unknown miscreants attacked two Home Guards of the Khandagiri police station here on Wednesday night.

When the 2 Home Guards had gone for patrolling on a motorcycle at around eleven pm, 3 miscreants suddenly came and attacked the cops, who was riding the bike. once the 2 fell down, the miscreants beat them up black and blue. Later, once one amongst the 2 police workers tried to run away, the anti-socials beat him with a stick.

The Home Guards were injured in the attack and later admitted to the Capital Hospital. Though the reason behind the attack is not known, the incident has raised question about the safety and security of the citizens in the capital city.
