Bhubaneswar: Panic held Patrapada zone here after six people sustained injuries in a group conflict, which saw firing late on Friday night.
As indicated by sources, a group of aggressors attacked another group and started shooting at them over some past animosity. They also scoured a few motorcycles of the other group and fled.
All injured were admitted to Capital hospital, sources added.
Though the exact reason behind the attack is unknown, it is suspected that the attack is linked to the murder of Patrapada contractor Dillip Nayak.
Police has started investigation into the matter.
