Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Sunday inked an update of comprehension (MoU) with Worldfish, a Penang-based aquaculture and genetic change association, to enhance fish creation in the State.
According to the agreement, Worldfish will give innovation and vital abilities to expand quality fish creation in the State for a long time from 2016.
Odisha government will invest Rs 22 crore in increading fish production in the State. It has targetted doubling fish production in the State in five years.
The agreement was signed between a representative of Worldfish and s State government official at the Secretariat here in presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
