Ranchi: RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and two ex-MPs appeared before the special CBI court in Ranchi on Monday regarding a fodder trick case, whose hearing would be taken up again on 29 June.
Lalu Yadav showed up under the special court of Shivpal Singh regarding 38A/96 case relating to false withdrawal of Rs 3.31 crore from Dumka treasury in unified Bihar amid the 1990s.
Former MPs Jagdish Sharma and RK Rana were among others who also appeared before the court.
The court fixed 29 June as the next date as two of the accused petitioned that they could not attend the court due to illness.
The CBI has already produced 208 witnesses and several others are to be produced.
Altogether 48 people, including former Bihar chief minister Prasad, were made accused in the Dumka treasury case. Fifteen of them have died and two turned government approvers, while two others were acquitted.
