Dhenkanal: Panic grasped Thokara village under Balimi police limits here after a youth of the village was shot dead by some unidentified persons on Friday morning.
The perished has been identified as Sanjeev Majhi.
Though the exact reason behind the murder is yet to be known, past enmity is suspected as a possible motive for the crime.
On being informed about the incident, police rushed to the spot and started investigation into the matter.
