Cuttack: Heavy damage was caused about to properties of HDFC bank’s Jholasahi branch after a major fire broke out at the bank this morning.
As indicated by sources, the fire broke out at the bank at around 4 am today. A security guard working there educated fire station about the occurrence after he saw smoke surging out of the bank.
Fire officials rushed to the spot and doused the flames. They found there were no fire safety equipment installed in the bank.
Surprisingly, no alarm was sounded after the fire broke out in the bank. Sources blamed the lack of safety equipment and alarms at the bank as the main cause of loss caused by the mishap.
