Srinagar : Curfew was reimposed on Friday in four locale of south Kashmir and Srinagar, while authorities clipped confinements in some different territories of the Valley to obstruct an arranged march by separatists.
“There is curfew in whole south Kashmir and Srinagar, while confinements have been forced in north and central Kashmir,” a police official said.
He said all the four locales of south Kashmir — Anantnag, Kulgam, Pulwama and Shopian — were under curfewin time to keep up lawfulness.
The authority said restriction were reimposed in north Kashmir and a few zones of central Kashmir to foil the walk reported by separatists to Jamia Masjid.
The separatists had asked the people to reach Jamia Masjid in downtown Srinagar to pay tributes to the people killed in the recent violence in the Valley.
On Thursday, authorities lifted curfew and restrictions across the Valley, except Anantnag town, after some improvement in the situation.
Mobile internet services continued to remain snapped in the entire Valley where the post-paid mobile services have been restored across all networks.
