Rourkela: The court of sub-divisional judicial judge (SDJM) here today conceded break safeguard to Jyotirani Sarangi, spouse of the Seashore Group CMD Prashant Dash, who was captured in a fraud case on June 7.
The commissionerate police had captured her in a fraud case in Laxmisagar area in Bhubaneswar on the premise of a non-bailable warrant issued against her by the Rourkela SDJM court in a fraud case. Sarangi, one of the chiefs of Seashore Group, had been accused for swindling individuals of Rs 90 lakh in the steel city.
A case had been registered with Raghunathpalli police in 2013 in this regard. The police had moved court seeking a warrant against Sarangi.
