Cuttack: Tension ran high on the premises of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) office after Congress corporator Arun Sethi professedly attacked BJD corporator Itishree Behera amid a meeting on Friday.

As per sources, the episode occurred when the Congress corporators organized a sit in inside a mosquito net amid the meeting in a symbolic protest against the govt’s inability to restrict the flare-up of dengue in the city.

BJD and Congress corporators had an altercation during the meeting following which Sethi allegedly thrashed Behera, sources added.

Following the incident, Behera has filed a case against Sethi.
