Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik paid his last respect to senoir Congress leader and three times MLA from Bramhagiri constituency of Puri District Lalatendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra(Lulu) today at Lulu’s government quarter here.
The corpse of the late Lulu Mohapatra was later taken to the Odisha Assembly in a grand procession. A guard of honour was given to the departed soul. Besides, leaders cutting across party lines gathered at the Assembly to pay their last respect to late Mohapatra.
Later, the body was taken to the Congress Bhaban, where party leaders, including OPCC Boss Prasad Harichandan paid tributes of the three-time Brahmagiri MLA. The corpse of the leader will later be taken to Mohapatra’s native village Gadarodanga in Puri district, where the last will be conducted today.
