Bhubaneswar: A week after sending her representative to depose before Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Laxmi Bilasini Biswal, wife of Choudwar-Cuttack MLA Prabhat Biswal, today appeared before the CBI in link with Seashore scam.
The CBI officials are likely to grill her over a land deal with Seashore Group head Prashant Dash.
Laxmi Bilasini arrived at the regional CBI office here today following the CBI notice to the legislator’s wife on December 2 asking her to submit some documents.
Earlier, the CBI had summoned her on November 26 to appear. However, she had sent her representative on November 28, who produced some documents at the office.
